Can you guide the hapless prisoners of the ark through abandoned spaceships and the many dangers that await them in the Sargasso Nebula?
Forget everything you know about first-person shooters: in Void Bastards, you have to think with your head, not just aim and shoot. You must lead a horde of space criminals out of the Sargasso Nebula. Make decisions and think about where to go, what to do, and who to fight. Then, dock and storm spaceships filled with strange and terrifying enemies.
On board abandoned spaceships, you need to figure out how best to complete the mission. This will help you gain information about the ship's design, potential hazards and enemies, as well as about remote controls and systems that are useful to you.
Navigate dangerous ships carefully, search for supplies, and manage defense systems. React to changes in the situation: will you go to the generator to restore power, or make your way to the security module to disable the ship's protection? Carefully determine when it's worth fighting, when it's better to surrender, and when it's best to become a bastard.
Use your hard-earned supplies to craft homemade weapons and tools. Craft everything from distracting robotic cats to terribly unstable cluster bombs.
Navigate a small boat into the vastness of the nebula. Flee empty whales and pirates, respectfully avoid hungry hermits, and don't forget to search for food, fuel, and other resources necessary for survival.
Void Bastards features a 12-15-hour campaign that can be completed with an endless number of prisoners, each with their own unique traits. If one dies, no problem—just equip the other. Don't worry, all creatures will survive and serve the heir. Release
