Information
Sony Computer Entertainment introduces a new concept in trading card games with "Eye of the Judgment," developed exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system. Utilizing the trading card expertise of Hasbro and its subsidiary, Wizards of the Coast, the immense power of the PS3 system, and the PlayStation Eye, Sony's groundbreaking next-generation USB camera for the PS3 system, "Eye of the Judgment" delivers a stunning visual experience that adds a third dimension to the trading card genre. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Japan Studio, "Eye of the Judgment" introduces a new style of gameplay where collectible trading cards, integrated with CyberCode, are brought to life in 3D through the use of the innovative PlayStation Eye. Players compete by selecting a card and placing the encrypted card in front of the PlayStation Eye, for their creatures to appear on-screen and battle. Players take turns placing cards as they vie for control; the winner is the first player to control five of the nine squares on the "9 Fields" battlefield. Players' mission is to control the board by deploying their cards more skillfully than their opponent. Players have four ways to play "Eye of the Judge": single-player against their PS3, against an opponent in two-player mode, against an opponent online, or allowing the PS3 to play a round using the player's cards. "Eye of the Judge" comes with a starter set of 30 character and magic cards made by Hasbro.
