Diablo 3 , also known as The Devil Part III, is an action role-playing hack-and-slash video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The game was released on September 3, 2013, for the PS3.
The story takes place twenty years after the events of Diablo 2 , the second part, where Mephisto , Diablo , and Baal were defeated, but then Worldstone was destroyed , which once protected the inhabitants of Sanctuary from the forces of Heaven and Hell, where evil is once again on the rise in Tristram. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players will acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they progress through the game. They explore new and familiar areas of sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to protect the world from the horrors that have arisen.
