As summer vacation comes to an end, two young girls visit a mountainous area to watch the evening fireworks. As night falls and the fireworks end, darkness engulfs their hometown. On their way home, something from the shadows emerges to attack, and the girls find themselves lost in the darkness. Separated and terrified, the girls must prepare for the terrors of the night, braving the darkness to find each other and return home. Hide behind bushes and signs as enemies close in, and use items found in the forest and in the town to solve puzzles and distract evil spirits.
