Xotic is an arcade-style first-person shooter where you achieve high scores by shooting enemies, setting off chain reactions, and discovering secret power-ups and score boosts. Armed with a weaponized symbiote called a Macroterra, you must purge the evil presence and reseed life on a planet ravaged by the Sphere's minions.
Destroy the malicious shard plants, and new life will grow in their place, diminishing the Sphere's hold on the planet. Activate the shard plants' chain reactions to earn score multipliers and chain bonus points. Collect Sphere Essences to boost your score, or catch them in the air to earn an aerial combo bonus. Find and destroy hidden Sphere Brains and collect all the Sphere Essences in each level to earn more points.
Earn experience points to upgrade your weapons and skills, including "Absorb" which automatically draws points towards you! Unlock the secrets of "Solid Hologram" technology to deploy mobile shields or airborne landing pads.
