Wars between nations are no longer conflicts between people; they have become struggles for survival, and humanity is fighting an entirely new enemy.
Unidentified flying objects known as Blankers have suddenly appeared, and the only weapon powerful enough to defeat them is the Held system.
Only a few exceptional young women are capable of operating the Held systems, and they have become known as Frauleins.
Frauleins are humanity's last hope... If we do not fight, humanity is doomed.

About the Game
A completely new take on the aerial combat genre, Wing of Darkness consists of several key elements that set it apart from others in the same genre.
This fast-paced, 3D game allows players to experience thrilling battles in the skies, as well as a series of cutscenes that depict the growth of the main characters throughout the story.
Combat
Enjoy the thrill of flight with intuitive controls, in any direction. Even if you run out of ammunition, it automatically regenerates itself over time. Choose from a wide range of high-tech weapons to fight powerful enemies without having to worry about saving ammunition. With the addition of some futuristic elements, players can experience combat like never before.
Cut-scenes
are interspersed with combat scenes, driving the story forward.
The two main characters (voiced by well-known Japanese voice actresses) narrate their own stories to give the player an inside look into the past.
The narrative alternates between the game's two protagonists, Klara and Erika.
