The goddess Hel—daughter of Loki, the Norse god of chaos—has been banished from the heavenly realm of Asgard for defying Odin's authority. Enraged by her fate, she seeks to free the ancient wolf-god Fenrir, who legend says will bring about Ragnarök—the apocalyptic battle that will destroy Asgard and the gods. With her army of resurrected Viking warriors, Hel marches toward the unaware mortal world of Midgard.
Odin's daughter, Freya, goddess of love and wisdom, is tasked with stopping Hel and defending the future of humanity.
