Description: Vernal Edge is an action-packed 2D Metroidvania with intense combat, precise platforming, and a compelling story of competition, revenge, and improvement.


20 years before the events of the game, the mysterious kingdom of Harikot inexplicably rose into the sky and collapsed into numerous scattered floating islands, allowing the power-hungry Aloe Church to take control of the kingdom.


Having personal scores to settle with the Aloe Church and its followers, Vernal secretly makes her way to Harikot on one of the church's planes. She travels alone across the kingdom to avenge her long-dead adventurer father. Vernal possesses outstanding combat skills, but she always brings her amnesiac robotic assistant, Chervil, along on her journeys across the various Harikot islands in her flying machine.


You'll have the opportunity to reincarnate as Vernal and help her reach her goal. By overcoming the hardships of navigating the floating islands and facing various types of adversaries, such as the elusive Alstroemeria, you'll uncover the secrets of the heroine's past and the mysteries of present-day Harikot.
