Vampire Rain Altered Species
is an intense game that takes place during a gloomy night in a suburban town on the West Coast of the United States. Some time ago, humanity was contending with the predatory and fearsome Species, a race of superhuman vampires who crave human blood. People disappeared into the night; the lucky ones were found dead, but the less fortunate were reborn as Species, bound by instinct to lure unwitting victims into the Species' army. Players assume the role of John Lloyd, a member of a special US government unit created to defeat the Species, and the only human to survive a physical encounter with them.
