The ghostly Martina is one of them. After having moral conflicts with her father—the primal vampire—she killed him, causing the collapse of her lineage in the Thirty Years' War. After losing her fortune and inheritance, she regretted her murderous act and the stupidity that caused the liquidation of her hierarchy. As a victim, she admitted that Europe was suffering from a broken heart.
Therefore, she fled Europe as much as she could.

She sneaked onto a Dutch East India Company ship and landed in Taiwan.
Her motivations for Taiwan were permanent, peaceful isolation without conflict, yet she encountered the opposite.
