Information:
Valkyria Chronicles takes place on a fictional continent reminiscent of the 1930s, depicting Europe divided in two and ruled by two superpowers: the Empire and the Federation. The Empire has set its sights on conquering the small, neutral nation of Gallia, located in the middle of the two superpowers' territories, in an attempt to secure priceless natural resources. In the midst of this conflict, a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers from the Federation's 7th Battalion resist the invasion and the Empire's attempts to unify the continent under its rule.
During the ensuing war, the Federation discovers that the Empire possesses a secret weapon, known as the Valkyria—an ancient race with special powers thought to exist only in legend.
