V-Rally '97 features 11 licensed rally vehicles and over 40 tracks with variable weather, terrain, and times of day. You can freely adjust parameters such as suspension, gear ratios, and steering before competing in three game modes: Arcade, Championship, and Time Trial. In Arcade mode, you progress through multiple competitions divided by difficulty, each consisting of four stages. Championship is an eight-race tournament that requires points for each top-three finish, while Time Trial lets you compete against the clock or another vehicle.
