Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an action-adventure third-person shooter video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment . It was released on October 13, 2009 in North America, on October 15, 2009 in Australia, and on October 16, 2009 in Europe, for the PS3 only.
The story revolves around the explorer and treasure hunter, the hero of the series,
"Nathan Drake", as he searches for a legendary stone called the "Cintamani Stone". The game assumes that this stone is located in the legendary city of "Shangri-La" or "Shambhala", where "Nathan Drake" follows in the footsteps of the famous traveler "Marco Polo" during his search for the same stone, at the same time that a Serbian war criminal named "Zoran Lazarević" is searching for the same stone because there is a legend that assumes that whoever obtains the stone obtains immortality and absolute power. "Nathan Drake" confronts him throughout the game and tries to prevent him from reaching it.
