Want to see a battalion of US soldiers in WWII fight 11,000 medieval soldiers? There are simply no limits to the destruction you can achieve in Epic Battle Simulator. Play with a huge array of units. Everything from Roman commanders, medieval soldiers, knights, orcs, trolls, and yes, chickens! The main focus of this game is giving the player complete freedom in what they can do. That's why we decided not to limit the number of units in a battle. Want to see what a battle of 100,000 units looks like? We don't recommend going above 10,000 for most machines, but that's your CPU, do what you want! Plus, you can play as any of the units in the game, approaching to help change the course of a massive battle, while gathering your teammates and giving them orders! Unfortunately, there aren't many engines where you can load 10,000 characters and expect good performance. That's why I worked for months to create the most powerful crowd rendering system ever conceived in the Unity engine. The detail of each character has little impact on performance while each individual acts independently, but they work for the greater good of their team. Each individual decides their own path and navigates complex environments. But I didn't stop there! With large open environments, I needed a more dynamic lighting solution than what's built into the Unity engine. So I built my own dynamic global lighting engine. This enables full bouncing light in real time. What does that mean? This means that every piece of shiny armor reflects its surroundings, and all shiny surfaces illuminate their surroundings and affect the overall lighting.
