In Turok,
the player controls the warrior of the Indian tribe Tal-Set (his other name is Turk), who travels through time. In his family, the duty of guarding the barrier between Earth and the Lost World, a place where the passage of time stopped in prehistoric times, is handed down from father to son. The Lost World is inhabited by a variety of creatures, from dinosaurs to aliens. The villain is searching for an ancient artifact known as the Chronoscepter, a powerful weapon that has been broken into pieces to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. He plans to use a special device to increase the Chronoscepter's power and destroy the barriers separating the different worlds and controlling the universe. The Turk decides to find the eight pieces of the Chronoscepter Scepter and stop the server.
