Trade Bots
is an educational simulation game that incorporates technical analysis and algorithmic trading. Buy and sell an unknown stock using real and historical data—starting at a random time in the past and trading the asset using technical analysis concepts learned along the way. Learn the basics of trading based solely on technical patterns and indicators, and unlock upgrades that speed up and automate trading. Borrowing mechanics from some idle games and roguelikes, progress is achieved by storing funds for future rounds after being called on margin. Upgrades can boost simulation speed, increase margin rights, unlock advanced indicators, and, as the name suggests, enable automation techniques.
By inverting a process known as "backtesting" in economics, Trade Bots players test their trading strategies against real and historical stock/ETF/crypto data dating back to the early 1950s. Over the course of the campaign, design complex trading bots using a custom visual contract editor. The engine is highly flexible and accommodates virtually any imaginable trading strategy while requiring no programming background. Advanced upgrades allow for playing with cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds, and the ability to share your bots with other players.Minimum
