There is full sound isolation (3D audio) on everything, from gusts of wind, to dripping water, to that mysterious string ringing in the distance. You will accurately hear the amplitude of each sound, and which direction it is coming from (best used with headphones). Real echo and reflection are used throughout the game continuously. Each sound produced will bounce off materials with different absorption properties (stone, fabric, glass, etc.), calculate the distance traveled to return to you, and adjust the frequency, providing an accurate and terrifying interpretation of real sound.
