Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
, commonly known as
THPS2 , is the second game in the Tony Hawk's series. It
was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2000. It was first released for the PlayStation, with later ports to the Nintendo 64 (by Edge of Reality), SEGA Dreamcast (by Crave), Game Boy Advance (by Vicarious Visions), Mac OS 9/X, Dell Axiom PocketPC (by Aspyr), and Windows PC (by Gray Matter Interactive). It was also released for the Game Boy Color, and was better received than the first version on that console. Despite this, it still felt a bit like the other versions of the game. The version was introduced for the Game Boy Advance, however, and achieved great success in accurately translating the style and feel of the game into a 3D (quasi-3D or 2.5D) game. On April 1, 2010, a remaster (a scaled-down version of the PC version) was released for iOS devices.
