Description: Thrill Kill is a canceled fighting video game developed by Paradox Development for the PlayStation. According to the game's plot, ten people sent to Hell after death had to fight to the death with Maruka, the Goddess of Secrets, for a chance to be reborn. The game was promoted as the first 3D four-player fighting game, with up to four players able to play simultaneously using PlayStation Multitap. During rounds, instead of a standard health bar, each player is given a "kill meter" that increases with each successful attack. The main focus of the game is "stunning kills" - spectacular finishing moves that players perform after the kill meter fills up.
After the game's cancellation, Thrill Kill was reworked to create the 1999 Activision video game Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style, which was also developed by Paradox. Paradox later used the engine created for Thrill Kill in several of its other games.
