: In this game, Thor battles across the many realms of Norse mythology to save Asgard, the capital city of the Norse gods. Thor must overcome monstrous enemies inspired by the pages of the comics, including Ulic, Ymmi, and Surtr, as well as other beastly inhabitants. Players will wield the legendary hammer Mjölnir, Thor's iconic hammer, to battle enemies on a massive scale while controlling the elemental storm powers of lightning, thunder, and wind to defeat foes. As Thor earns Courage Points through his adventures, players can acquire new abilities, powers, and weapon upgrades. The PS3 version features cinematic third-person gameplay with combat combos, remote hammer throws, elemental powers that change the tide of battle, and an upgrade system to enhance Thor's powers as players progress. Players will have to face enemies up to four times the size of Thor, with multiple climbing points and varied strategies to defeat them: facing the 25-foot-tall, 12-ton Ice Troll is a truly thrilling experience.
