But what if this sentient alien civilization were discovered in a state of civil war? After determining that the rewards outweigh the risks, an undiscoverable space station with a small crew of three is sent to investigate the alien culture in search of a path toward a peaceful relationship. When contact with the crew is unsuccessful, a reconnaissance specialist is sent to uncover what happened. What players discover will challenge their views on surveillance, imperialism, and moral law.
