Information
What hides in Alvin's past? What secrets will you discover as you cross the mansion? ...
The mansion, the dark, eerie building you are facing, does not exist. Perhaps it existed at one time, but when? And was it like this? Perhaps it resembles the one now standing or perhaps it was only pieced together from existing memories, both real and those created in books, movies, or on old postcards?
The building before us, though it appears sturdy, seems to have been built from the nightmare memories of a tormented boy. And he stands in the center of his nightmare.
On a rainy day, cold as old bones that no quilt can warm anymore, there was a soft knock on the door of the doctor's office in your small town. The stranger, a thin young boy with a face early drawn by suffering, was knocking with the last of his strength. He fell motionless before you, muttering something unintelligible. You carried him to the couch, covered him with a blanket, and bent down to examine him. Then you looked into his eyes, which were like deep wells, and felt yourself falling directly into his dream.
Now you stand in front of the mansion, knowing you won't leave until you face this boy's haunting fears and memories. And the monsters from his dreams seem eerily real to you—fully capable of inflicting real harm.
