Art information
like never before. The Kremer Museum is an innovative new concept that combines cutting-edge virtual reality technology with world-class Old Master paintings. The museum includes pieces by Rembrandt, Aelbert Cuyp, Frans Hals, and many other Old Masters from the Dutch Golden Age.
Walk through a stunning new space, where the balance between traditional museums and virtual reality is represented by a new type of architecture. Be sure to check out Rembrandt's "The Old Man with the Turban," walk through it, and look at the original reverse of the painting to explore the unique stamps of ownership.
Designed by architect Johan van Lierop, founder of Architales, and developed by MOYOSA MEDIA from the Netherlands, the museum includes 74 paintings by Dutch and Flemish Old Masters from the Dutch Golden Age, accessible exclusively through virtual reality technology.
The history and future of the power of art come together. Get up close and personal with the paintings, examine the brushwork and colors in great detail, and listen to George and Elon Kremer—the founders of the collection—explain what is special about each painting.
George Kramer: "Our journey as collectors has always been about finding high-quality artworks and, at the same time, finding ways to share them with as many people as possible. My wife, Elon, and I believe we can make a greater contribution to the art world by investing in technology rather than in the bricks and mortar of our collections."
"First there were museums, then private museums, and now virtual private museums are entering the arena." Melanie Gerlis, Financial Times Minimum
