The world has been rocked by two major events - Mukai stealing the Oroshi Seal and Ash Crimson stealing the Yata Mirror. Just as the dust settled, a new King of Fighters Tournament was announced - one that brought together some familiar faces, as well as newcomers to the King of Fighters universe. Not all is as it seems in this new tournament. There are so many unanswered questions. So many mixed goals. Who are the "People of the Past" group and what are they really planning to do? Where will the Oroshi power finally reside once the seal is broken? Will Chizuru and his friends be able to seal the Oroshi again?
