Long ago, a poor boy named Hans lived with his mother near the forest. He didn't receive any sweets or gifts for his birthday. He was so upset that he decided to leave home in search of a better life. As a goodbye, his mother gave him his grandfather's staff, some cheese, and three gold coins. Hans went into the forest in search of adventure. Soon, night fell, and the boy was so scared that he decided to turn back. But suddenly, a strange kobold blocked his way, and Hans decided to follow him to the castle. The kobold tells Hans that he will receive a great deal of wealth if he passes a simple test... by guessing his name. Trapped in the castle, Hans must endure an adventure filled with magic, horror, and mystery to become the new Count Lucanor.
