The Bug Butcher is an action
-packed 2D side-scrolling shooter where danger comes from above. In short, it's machine-gun pest control in space. The core mechanics carry old links to the vertical-shooting arcade classic Super Pang, but with modern twists. You are Harry, a daring and persistent bug slayer with a knack for exterminating insects. Harry's current mission takes him to a futuristic, pest-infested research facility on the planet Zoet. The dwindling number of surviving scientists have hired him for his slaughtering skills. Harry's mission: survive until the building's disinfection is complete, hoard coins as if his life depended on it, and protect the scientists at all costs. Beware of spiders, as they particularly like rubber-coated scientists. After landing, you'll move from room to room across the facility, firing missiles, lasers, and using Force lightning toward anything that isn't human.
