You've joined the guard in Odom, a border town filled with merchants, travelers, and mysterious individuals. However, it doesn't take long for skilled and talented individuals to rise above the rest. A little effort will allow you to quickly rise through the ranks and unlock the many perks that come with promotions.
Your initial main task as a Foot Soldier will be neighborhood patrols, where you'll scan alleys for suspicious individuals and search them for illicit goods. Like many guards in many towns, even Odom's guards are corrupt... Will you choose to fine the offenders and keep some of the money, or arrest them to advance your career? Both options will help you in one way or another.
The more promotions you get, the more perks you'll unlock. Soon you'll be able to patrol wealthier neighborhoods and even command your own soldiers to do your work for you. As a commanding officer, your subordinates' accomplishments also become your own! Some higher ranks will require currying favor with your superiors, but a pay raise and a little saving will make that easy, too.Minimum
