Battle of Visby is a visual narrative experience that retells the events that took place on the small Scandinavian island of Gotland during the summer of 1361. Visby, the island's main town, is the trading center of the North. King Valdemar Atterdag of Denmark lands his forces on the shores of Gotland's west coast. His goal is to conquer Visby and control Baltic Sea trade. A small resistance of rural peasants decides to take up arms against the powerful invaders.
The story is told from a first-person perspective, with the player assuming the roles of various characters experiencing the events leading up to the battle. It was created in Unreal Engine by a one-person team. The experience lasts approximately 1–2 hours and focuses on storytelling. Minimum
