Hello everyone, as part of our 15th anniversary celebration, we are updating The Bard's Tale with a new, remastered, and remastered edition. This will be the new standard edition of the game. For those who already own The Bard's Tale, not to worry! Your copy will be automatically updated for free!
You play as the Bard, a scheming, manipulative, and vulgar singer whose priorities in life are material wealth and carnal pleasures. The Bard is naturally sarcastic, but you can decide how sarcastic his replies will be by selecting "Gentle" or "Sarcastic." Be careful not to get too cocky; the people you've upset may come back to haunt you. During his raucous adventures, the Bard recruits a variety of eccentrics and outcasts to aid him in his less-than-noble cause. Enemies can be defeated using conventional or magical weapons, and you can also use the Bard's sweet tones to summon creatures. If you're tired of saving humanity or bored by games that take themselves too seriously, The Bard's Tale might be for you.
The remastered and remastered version of The Bard's Tale features the following updates:
• Updated start screen and app icon.
• Runs at the highest default screen resolution by default without opening the Graphics Settings app.
• Updated Graphics Settings app to include only the Steam-selected language, which is the preferred method.
• Full Steam overlay support (Shift+Tab).
• Steam Achievements and Trading Cards.
• Additional language support for Italian.
• 64-bit operating systems no longer crash on startup.Minimum
