Robot Wars Tactics
is a turn-based tactical game where you control an elite squad of soldiers. You choose weapons to purchase, armor to wear, and cybernetic modifications to enhance them. You fight in a series of battles featuring a mix of maps, enemy groups, and tactical gameplay, making each battle fresh and unique.
Robot Wars Tactics doesn't use a traditional grid-based system; all actions cost your units action points, and your units can move anywhere on the battlefield that allows them action points.
Robot Wars Tactics battles also include objectives on the battlefield, which grant strategic information each turn to the side controlling them. When a player gains enough strategic information, they can call in a plan to influence the battle. These plans range from helicopter airstrikes to missiles or deployable landmines in orbit. Controlling objectives and using summons intelligently will separate the good commanders from the great ones. Each enemy commander also has a unique set of summons to defend with.
Robot Wars Tactics also includes an order system, where you can issue orders to your men, giving them advantages and disadvantages for the turn. If you need to reach an elusive objective, you might give the order to advance, which gives you increased movement speed, but you give up some weapon accuracy for that turn. Learning when to use each order is the key to victory.
Finally, after each successful mission, you'll unlock new vendors in the shops, giving you more options for spending your hard-earned cash. As you play a set of missions, each victory grants you cash to upgrade your team for that round. Learning the best items to buy against each opponent, combined with the constant changes in maps and enemy strategies, gives you endless playability.Minimum
