You assume the role of a crafted space mercenary who is informed of the details of the primary mission and sent on their way, expecting to complete the objectives set by their creators. However, players decide which orders they follow and who they follow. The game offers many different choices that significantly impact situations, outcomes, and relationships within the game. Players also have the freedom to travel to different planets and locations in search of loot, quests, or dubious business.
