SKIPCHASER are an endangered species of bounty hunters who search the universe for anyone willing to pay the price of a contract. Your journey begins on the planet Paterae XI, where there are plenty of villains and criminals to track down.
Contracts will send you all over the planet, from salty wastelands to the depths of long-abandoned element mines. Here, you'll encounter all manner of humans, aliens, and robots, so make sure your trigger finger is ready at all times. With procedurally generated enemies, it could take hours before you encounter the same foe twice.
A SKIPCHASER's best friend is his weapon, so it must be fully customizable. With thousands of possible combinations, you can use the forging system to create the right ammunition for any enemy or situation.
SKIPCHASERS and enemies deal damage of three different types: fire, biological, and cold. Each damage type has a counter and can be applied to weapons and equipment. Choosing the right weapon and armor to clear a room adds just the right amount of strategy to this action experience.
SKIPCHASER was born out of the 72-hour Ludum Dare 35 challenge. Our entry, the Mimic, was built on the same engine, uses a similar graphical style, and led to this futuristic rogue-lite game.Minimum
