Description: Forbidden Siren, known as Siren in Japan and the United States (Japanese: サイレン, Sairen), is a survival horror computer game developed by SCE Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was released only on the PlayStation 2 in 2003-2004.
As the game progresses, the player will play as more than ten characters. In the first level, the player will have to escape from a policeman, escaping from him into the forest. The player has no weapons. The escape ends with the character being shot in the chest and falling into a river. The character dies after two enemy attacks.
The characters have practically no serious weapons. In various episodes, they save their lives using a crowbar, a pistol, or a shotgun.
The game's plot develops in the Japanese village of Hanuda, located on the banks of a river. But one day, something strange happens in the village, and the player must discover what it is. Every character the player controls suffers from memory loss, headaches, and hallucinations. In addition, they do not know where they appear.
A Japanese film based on the game, Forbidden Siren, was released on February 9, 2006, coinciding with the release of the second part of the game series.
