Shores Unknown is set in a land ruled by the ruthless Iron Crown and watched over by the fearsome Inquisition, from which it is said there is no escape. To the south lies the Empire and constant war, while to the north lies only the Mist—a wall of enveloping fog from which no ship has ever returned. Amidst these greater forces, both natural and otherwise, our heroes must find a way to survive and pursue their dreams of freedom.
Play as the leader of a newly formed mercenary company, after being set on the wrong path. Now on the wrong side of the Crown, allies and loyalty are essential. Forced to venture through the Mouth of the Mist in search of the truth, players will explore unknown lands, forge new alliances, and wage war against those who wish to see them brought to an end. A grid-free, turn-based tactical combat system: Take your time to assess the situation and command your characters in the Command phase, then watch your strategy unfold during the Action phase as characters move around the battlefield and execute their orders.
An adaptive character development system: Characters learn new skills and unlock new classes based on their equipment and combat choices.
Deep team customization options allow the player to build the perfect mercenary team of their choice, giving them complete control over the equipment and skills used by each character.
