Description: Eika Koch was walking in the quiet German town of Lebensbaum when suddenly darkness clouded his vision. The next thing he saw was a very strange room filled with equally strange objects, and a voice coming from nowhere. A mysterious Homunculus tells Eika that he has been stabbed and also gives him a time travel device that takes him back to the moment just before his death. Thus, the man gets a second chance at life and finds himself in a constant race against time, trying to escape his fate. To change the course of events and prevent an unknown person from killing him, Eike will have to travel back in time to the 16th century and meet people closely connected to his existence in order to alter the very fabric of reality.


Shadow of Destiny is an adventure game with no action elements and no life bar for the protagonist. In each time-limited chapter, Eike must find a way to prevent his own murder, which is achieved by traveling back in time to different hours, days, years, and even centuries. Finding objects, communicating with specific people, or performing various actions in the past can prevent the protagonist from being killed. There are a total of eight different endings you can achieve in the game.
