The story of Evil Ring takes place in the final years of the Warring States Period in Chinese history (476-206 BC). This turbulent time sees the disintegration of the longest-running imperial dynasty, the Zhou Dynasty. Out of the strife and chaos emerges a nobleman possessing an indomitable spirit and an uncompromising vision for the future: Ying Zheng, ruler of the Qin state. He will stop at nothing to reunite the disparate Chinese kingdoms. Combining ancient myths and legendary narratives with historical facts, Evil Ring sets the stage for an epic adventure as players struggle to repel the Qin invasion of their peaceful homeland, East Baiyue. Violent monsters, merciless enemy soldiers, vicious bandits, and terrifying supernatural foes are the dangers they must face in order to achieve this goal.
