Information:
A year has passed since the events of Sakura Gamer. Since then, Nekohime and her friends have released a new visual novel, Micomide, to great success. With a larger budget than before and a rapidly growing audience, Nekohime is creating and selling the eagerly anticipated sequel to Micomide: Micomide 2.
Unfortunately, every dark spot has a cloud. People's admiration for Micomide wasn't universal, and the negative press the first game received is starting to discourage our heroine. Nekohime's self-confidence begins to wane, and she soon begins to question all of her life choices.
Was it a mistake to become a visual novel writer? Maybe she should have stayed as a computer repair technician instead!
Nekohime's doubts are compounded when she encounters Kurumi, a disaffected young woman who hates Micomide (and hardcore visual novels in general). What will Nekohime do?!
Will she be able to maintain her relationships with her close friends and fellow developers, Suki and Clover? Can she overcome her crippling self-doubt? Will Mecomide 2 be as popular as its predecessor?
Also known as Sayu, Nekohime is the heroine of this story. Anxious, introverted, and prone to doubt, she's on the verge of becoming a recluse. If it weren't for her friends, she might have already abandoned society.
She's well aware of her shortcomings and works hard at improving herself and her (mediocre, of course) writing. Strive, Nekohime! You can do this!
Also known as Chika, Clover is Nekohime's longtime friend and a steadfast supporter. Based on your choices in Sakura Gamer, she could also be something else.
Clover is an energetic, cheerful, and practical girl, and while she may seem like a dork, she's surprisingly good at giving life advice. Reliable in a crisis, she's always here when you need her! You can count on Clover! Minimum
