Rayman Rush is a character-based racing game similar to other racing games such as Micro Manix or Mad Dash Racing on the Xbox. Players choose from seven playable characters from the Rayman universe to race to the finish line, overcoming obstacles and collecting power-ups along the way. Rayman Rush is a foot racing game developed and published by Ubisoft, based on the Rayman universe. In many ways, it resembles a semi-port of Rayman Arena, featuring conversions of the same race tracks, the same introduction movie, and even the character theme songs (however, it lacks the battles from M, and the character roster is different). It is a 1-2 player game, and each race features two characters racing (one in some game modes). The game was released four months after Rayman M/Arena. Races take place on 12 tracks across four worlds, and there are five main game modes: Practice, Championship, Time Attack, L, and Objective. Some of the game modes in Rayman Rush are more combat-oriented competitions, as opposed to straight-up races. Success allows players to unlock new characters and game modes. Rayman Rush players can race head-to-head, split-screen style. Characters: Rayman Rush features 8 playable characters: * Rayman: The main character of the game and series. He uses his hair as a helicopter to glide and likes to use his torso as a ball. * Globox: Rayman's best friend. He inflates like a balloon to glide. While he may look a little awkward and awkward, his bulky body belies his obvious prowess and fighting spirit. * Globot: Like her husband Globox, she is a fierce competitor when it comes to racing. She inflates like a balloon and spins her feet like propellers to glide, just like Globox. * Admiral Razorbird: The main antagonist of Rayman 2, Razorbird is the Admiral of the Robot Pirates. Game Modes: There are 5 game modes (only Tournament mode supports multiplayer): * Tournament Mode: You compete against a computer-controlled character (or a second human player if multiplayer is enabled). You must complete 3 laps before your opponent to win. One victory in Tournament Mode unlocks LAM Mode for the same track. In multiplayer, the screen is split vertically. * LAM Mode: Only available after unlocking the corresponding level in Tournament Mode. In this mode, several yellow LAMs are scattered around the maps. You must compete with a computer-controlled character and win the 3-lap race. At the same time, collect as many Llams as possible. If you win, the corresponding level will be unlocked in Target Mode. Depending on the number of Llams you collect, you will receive a time bonus for Target Mode. * Target Mode: Available only after unlocking the corresponding level in Llam Mode. You will compete alone against the clock, shooting butterflies scattered around the level.Each butterfly you shoot gives you extra time. * Time Attack Mode: You will run one lap alone.
