The brothers devised a plan to reclaim the throne of Wallachia and eliminate the Turks.
Radu the Handsome secretly wished to rule himself and betrayed his brother Vlad the Archer, telling everything about the plan to the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
The Sultan, enraged, threw Vlad the Archer into prison for the rest of his life.
