Portal Defect is a Top-Down Roguelite set in the future/past (depending on how you look at it) where you adventure through randomized levels, picking up randomly dropped weapons and spells.
You are a new agent for a mysterious corporation called "The Hive," sent into the past to alter it according to your clients' wishes...
whether that's assassinating kings or exterminating a new breed of chicken that will win all beauty contests starting in 2151.
But not everything goes as planned... Upon returning, your portal malfunctions, trapping you in an eternal loop through history.
Will you be able to escape and return home? Or will you die trying?
