In Port Royale 4, you become a young and ambitious colonial governor who dreams of figuring out how to transform a small settlement into a bustling trading metropolis.
Develop multi-island production chains and establish complex trade routes to cross the Caribbean Sea and meet the growing needs of the growing cities. Study the detailed nautical chart to avoid areas with stormy weather, rapids, or shallow waters. Complete quests for your viceroy to gain fame and unlock new buildings, ships, and more. Invade enemy cities or capture their ships using tokens, but beware of other pirates.
For the first time in the series, naval battles are turn-based. Up to 10 ships can join the fray, and captains can maneuver tactically to achieve a brilliant victory even in the most hopeless situations.
