A multiplayer role-playing game, Phantasy transports you to the middle-eastern island of Gielnor for the adventure of your dreams. You lead a party of one to six characters in roles such as monk, priest, mage, ranger, thief, or fighter. Your companions don't have to be human; they can be dwarves, elves, orcs, or lizardmen—to name just a few of the exotic breeds.
With this diverse crew, you search the lands for the Nine Rings to help you end the plague of Gielnor—the Dark Lord and his evil minions. You'll chart new terrain, explore maze-like dungeons, solve puzzles, learn offerings, gain experience, and battle numerous monsters. In each town you visit, you can recruit new members to replace lost or unwanted companions.
