Pawn of the Dead is a 3D chess-inspired game with a gameplay similar to Battle Chess. What makes it unique is its mechanics: when a black (dead) piece captures a white piece, that white piece turns into a black piece! But don't worry, all levels are designed so you can always win the game.
Your mission, Cleonard, the White King, is to protect the White Kingdom against the army of the walking dead. Elona, the White Queen, is the kingdom's best warrior; you won't be able to succeed without her help. During your journey, you'll encounter an evil reflection you've long forgotten.
Our campaign mode contains 64 levels, and its story is supported by cinematics.
We have a random level generator, which provides you with procedural challenges. It creates levels that are sufficiently challenging, but it ensures that there is always at least one solution. It is possible to play as the Black side in this mode.Minimum
