Description:
After Nobunaga's defeat in the previous game, the dark Genma army disappeared, and feudal Japan seemed to be living in peace. But we all know that peace doesn't last long, right? Moreover, a peaceful samurai game wouldn't be very interesting. 15 years have passed. Nobunaga's servant, Hideyoshi, reappeared, causing trouble once again alongside the rejuvenated Genma army. After that, this brought many disasters and failures, such as earthquakes and volcanoes, which began to destroy the country. You'll take control of a new warrior named Soki, who has supernatural powers and looks like a famous Japanese actor. Together with your allies, you'll have to defeat Hideyoshi and Genma and restore peace.
You'll start with a simple sword. You also have a high-quality attack, which increases the number of enemies you destroy. As in previous games, killed enemies release energy, which you can use as strength, weapons, or armor. To absorb this energy, press the X button. The more energy you collect, the stronger you become. The game has five weapon categories: broadswords, swords, firearms, gloves, and staffs. As you progress, you gain more weapon skills.
In addition to new weapons, we should talk about other distinctive qualities of the game. As you become stronger, you can upgrade a whole series of combat maneuvers. And as you become a powerful samurai, it becomes easier for you to repel enemy attacks.
Perhaps the biggest innovation in Dawn of Dreams is the additional characters that will help you in your difficult mission. They will run with you and help you slay hordes of demons. Early in the game, you'll meet your first: a young, nimble ninja girl named Jubei. Each of these helpers has the same health, armor, and weapons as you. During battles, these warriors gain the same experience as you, and after successfully completing battles, you can upgrade your warriors.
