In the barren, undeveloped lands of West Modus, disgruntled townspeople find their settlements under siege by hostile outlaws. Along comes the Stranger, a tall, dark, and mysterious bounty hunter with a mission to capture troublemakers and rogues and bring them back to civilized cities for detention.
But the Stranger is keeping a secret and needs expensive surgery to survive. In his quest to earn enough money, the Stranger reluctantly accepts the final reward from the owner of the River Mungo, and suddenly his adventure takes a very different turn.
