From the sick mind behind Bloodwash, Jordan King, comes his latest foray into horror. Inspired by the Italian zombie films of Lucio Fulci and Bruno Mattei, Night at the Gates of Hell promises to be a blood-drip, neon-soaked, flesh-rotting experience.
“I was also inspired by the early Resident Evil titles, but I wanted to challenge myself to make it feel like a first-person Resident Evil title. My take is on having to shoot zombies in the head to kill them (which can be difficult without any consistent direction!), and keeping the zombies slow and threatening. Most games seem to go with the fast zombies in the crowd, but I wanted to keep the combat experience tense and thoughtful.” - Jordan King
You play David, a quiet man whose wife recently died, living alone in his beach apartment with nothing to lose when a zombie outbreak sweeps through his town and disrupts his normal daily life. After gathering his thoughts, gathering some weapons, and meeting other survivors, David realizes he must fight his way to the truth behind the apocalypse, shooting and slicing through hordes of zombies.Minimum
