Three years have
passed since the day Takeru, an unsuspecting Japanese high school student, suddenly woke up in a world that wasn't his—a war-torn alternate reality where humanity was on the brink of extinction, locked in a decades-long conflict against ruthless alien invaders known only as BETA. During that time, he'd been through a lot—joining the military, meeting versions of his old friends from parallel universes, and even falling in love. But unbeknownst to Takeru, he and his teammates were being trained to participate in a top-secret United Nations contingency plan known as Alternative IV—a last-ditch effort to reclaim Earth via experimental technology.
