Information:
Kei Tsushima, a student on the fast track to university, dropped out under surprising circumstances. Although things didn't go as smoothly as originally planned, he is now attending night school part-time to continue his efforts to become a doctor like his father and live up to his family's expectations.
But lately, he has become less confident in his imposed course: "Is this what's best for me?"
The various people he meets from all walks of life in his new study environment help broaden his outlook and give him a glimpse into things he's still unaware of in this world.

After submitting a short story to a writing contest in the city with a prophecy, he soon receives a request from the president of a music production company, Yagihara, to write about a certain band on the company's roster, on the condition that he travel with them to one of their live performances.
The band in question was Kachu-Fujitsu, who had previously been signed to a major label. Korekiyo Hanai, the band's leader, is a strange man who, for some reason, declares the music meaningless to Kei on the way to a show. While Kei is at a loss for how to explain this, he witnesses his first live musical performance with Kacho-Fujitsu and is instantly immersed in the music.
