Mushihimesama
(Insect Princess in English) is a vertical shooter set in a beautiful fantasy world. Huge insect-like creatures called Kujo roam the forest outside Hoshifuri Village. When the people of Reiko are struck by a mysterious illness, the young princess decides to leave the village and meet the Kujo god, who may provide a cure. Riding her loyal companion, the golden beetle Kiniro, Reiko must cross the wilderness, braving hostile landscapes and aggressive Kujo monsters on her journey through the Shinju Forest.
