Description: Scientists have detected a mysterious signal coming from the Red Planet.
The information it contains has puzzled Orochi researchers. After decoding the signal, the company's analysts realize it has an intelligent origin. The Orochi board of directors immediately decides to classify all data related to the discovery to prevent any risk. Amidst the utmost secrecy, the company begins construction of the Invictus Base, a Martian research site whose crew will be tasked with determining the true nature of the signal.
You are Shane Newhart, a technician for Invictus, and your security clearance is so low that you can't know anything about the mysterious signal. Your mission is simply to oversee the station's operation until the Cyrano transporter arrives with a team of shift workers.
But after some time, Invictus is overwhelmed by a wave of strange failures and incidents. The security system triggers the isolation protocol, the greenhouse floods, and somehow Martian dust seeps into the infirmary. The station is crumbling before our eyes.
You begin to see and hear things that can't possibly be. What are these hallucinations and visions? Or worse? Is what's happening real? Or are you slowly going mad?

Moons of Madness is based on the rich environment and mythology of another Funcom game, Secret World Legends. Both games are set in the same universe, but you don't have to play Secret World Legends to enjoy the new game.
